Creating a Conceptual Art Portfolio with Phillipa Frederiksen

Have you ever considered producing a portfolio of your work?
A portfolio is a selection of images that make up a whole, so that many individual photographs become one body of work.

In 2017 Phillipa Frederiksen instigated a new initiative for APS (Australian Photographic Society) that would cater for members who wish to develop their photographic talents through an
avenue other than competitions.
This new initiative is known as CAPA > The Conceptional Art Portfolio Award.

CAPA is entirely separate from the present honour awards offered by APS and it is a
SELF CHALLENGING project, not a competition.

This evening Phillipa will present on the concepts and structure that will help you to understand and begin the process of creating your own personal portfolio of work. She will also provide an avenue for assistance and mentorship via the CAPA mentoring program to enable you to realise your photographic goals.
